New Addition

Well I figure its about time to post some pics of our newest addition to our large family!! :) Austin Karter was born on November 15 at 7:51 am and was 8 lbs 5 oz and 21 inches long.

He has been an absolutely awesome baby, and I fall more and more in love with him everyday!! 

At his 3 week check up he had already grown 2 inches and gained 2 pounds...his pediatrician looked at me and said, he isn't even on the charts for his height, he would be on the 3 month old chart....go Austin, already taller than normal, go figure!! :) Now if we could just fatten up his body a little bit more! :) 

New Nursery

I figured its been a while since I had posted anything on here so its time to have a bit of an update! We have finally gotten settled into our new house and its starting to feel like "home" And yes we have our nursery officially finished! Thanks to lots and lots of help from Aunt Natalie and daddy! Natalie flew out for a weekend and helped Kurtis paint our little sea turtle scene, and it turned out PERFECT.  We just got our dresser and rocking chair and are completely done, just needs baby!

That pic is without the rocking chair and night stand but I don't have pictures of that yet and I don't want to walk up the stairs to get one... :)

Thanks Aunt Natalie for all of your help we definitely couldn't have done it without you!!! I definitely needed your help with ALL of it and Kurtis needed help with the colors for sure! :) We can't thank you enough for all of it!

We also we back to Utah a couple weekends ago and had my baby shower which was put on but the AMAZING Natalie once again!!! It was so much fun to see everyone and spend time with all the loved ones! I got a ton of awesome gifts as well so thank you everyone!!! ANd especially thank you Natalie once again for being such a great sister and best friend!!! You're the BEST!!

The rest of the weekend we got to spend a lot of time with family which was great!! It was great to get to spend time with dad and my mom again!! Kurtis definitely got a good work out in while playing a basketball tournament with Karl, Branden and Jordan! They played basketball at my moms club house for probably 2 hours while Natalie and I sat around and watched!! Once again it was hard to leave everyone and we miss them all like crazy!!!

Kids in California

We have had the kids out here since Saturday so I thought I would post some of our pool pictures on our new blog! :) Yes the fat Prego one is the one taking the pictures not being in them on purpose! :) The kids are having a blast out here, and keeping their daddy busy all day long!!!

When we got him out here Jackson wouldn't get in the pool by himself, and look at him now....

The boys were very excited to push their dad in after all the teasing he was dishing out to them...

How does this happen?!?

Yes when we pulled in to McDonalds for a McFlurry, they had signs posted saying sorry for the inconvenience we are temporary out of Cheeseburgers, DBL Cheeseburgers, and Hamburgers.....how does McDonalds run out of Cheeseburgers?!?!

Starting with the Blog Process

Hello Everyone,

After being able to read through Joey and Rachel's blog as they update it, I thought it would be a good idea to follow along and start ours, so I am not promising anything, but I will try to get on here as often as I remember to update everything...Kurtis and I are still getting used to living in a new state and figuring out where things are etc.  We are very excited about our newest addition that will be here in November and getting ready for that new adjustment as well!!! We just got back from a vacation in Hawaii which was amazing, and I can't wait to go back! Like I said I don't promise I will be any good at keeping this updated but starting was my first step.
